The Maputo Fast Forward project announces the opening of registrations for the “3D Animation and Digital Production — Eco Rebels” course, a pilot training program integrated into the Digital Hub and implemented by FX Animation Studios, in partnership with the 16Neto cultural space.
The initiative aims to empower young creatives interested in the areas of digital animation, 3D modeling, and audiovisual production, through an intensive 12-week program. The training will take place in a hybrid format, combining in-person sessions on Saturdays at 16Neto and online classes via Zoom, held three times a week after work hours.
During the course, participants will have hands-on experience with tools and techniques used in the digital animation industry, including Blender and Unreal Engine, 3D modeling, character and set creation, texturing, lighting, compositing, and animation of characters, objects, and cameras.
The program will culminate in the individual creation of a 20-second animation by each trainee, allowing participants to integrate real audiovisual creation processes and develop practical experience in teamwork and digital production.
The course offers 20 places and is intended for young people aged 18 and over. Women and young people with disabilities are strongly encouraged to participate.
Registration is open from May 28 to June 28, through the following form: https://forms.gle/VA2M5hUBFfUZcm6g8
Selected participants will also have support for internet access during the official training period.
