The 14th edition of the KIKK Festival, taking place in Namur, Belgium, from 23 to 26 October 2025, is a meeting point for international stars of digital and creative culture who explore the intersections between art, science, technology and society.
This year’s festival will embrace the musicality of life and delve into the evolution of sound, from natural rhythms to the transformative power of electronic music. Electronic music, with its roots in futurism and modernity, has not only shaped cultural traditions, but also fostered the development of digital and technological art. This exploration extends to the intersection between artificial intelligence and sound creation, revealing new possibilities for sound expression.
With the theme ‘Boom, boom tchak’, the festival makes a reference to the sound and acoustic universe, which, according to the organisers, aims to explore the profound relationship between rhythm, sound and life itself.
“Rhythm is the invisible force that orchestrates our world – from the circadian rhythms that guide our sleep and wake cycles to the tides, the changing seasons and the revolutions of celestial bodies. It is the pulse of existence, woven into the lives of plants, animals and even the smallest organisms.”
The KIKK Festival will feature a total of 45 talks in four venues, covering a variety of topics: branding, web, design, UX, creative coding, AI, XR and critical thinking. Exhibitions and installations will take place in more than 10 indoor and outdoor spaces in the city of Namur.
