Pizzawpineapples on the tour of South African musician Bongeziwe Mabandla

The young Mozambican artist Pizzawpineapples is on the tour to present the new album by the award-winning South African musician Bongeziwe Mabandla, entitled “amaXesha”. The tour of shows in South Africa will culminate with a performance on October 27th in Maputo.

Presented and featured in Maputo Fast Forward’s residency project, New Kids – a musical experience, the multi-talented artist Bruno Saranga, who signs as Pizzawpineapples in the music world, was invited by producer and musician Tiago Correia-Paulo to join the tour presenting the album by one of South Africa’s most acclaimed new generation musicians.

The performances are in a trio made up of Pizzawpineapples himself, Tiago Correia-Paulo and Bongeziwe Mabandla.

In South Africa, the series of shows kicked off on October 14th and there the young Mozambican prodigy got his chance to perform on big stages. The tour, announced in a publication by Bongeziwe Mabandla, is coming to Maputo, where the musician has already performed on other occasions, with a show at the Franco-Mozambican Cultural Centre.

Bruno Saranga, born on 26 December 1998, better known as PIZZAWPINEAPPLES, is a Mozambican recording artist, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, sound engineer, photographer and visual artist.
